Changes in sealant due to heat and temperature variations over time can be measured on a non-contact basis. A 0.4 μm resolution enables detection of infinitesimal changes.

Detecting improper caulking

Detecting improper caulking

Improper caulking can be detected by checking the bottom dead center of the machine. Setting the bottom dead center mode turns on the trigger automatically and the lowest position of the bottom dead center in a sampling period is detected for evaluation of dimensional tolerance.
