A laser displacement sensor measures the thickness of noodles. If the thickness is found to be abnormal a NG signal is generated. Since this is a non-contact type of detection, processes can be run with continuous monitoring and measurement.
By measuring the distance between the edges of the boxes, the number of boxes can be counted.
